Yes, there is a minimum flight time of 1 hour on all helicopter flights.

How long will it take to get my helicopter license and how much will it cost? |

For a private license the FAA requirement is 40 hours, and the commercial license requirement is 150 hours. However, sometimes students need more hours than the minimum requirements to meet flight proficiency. So the length of time will depend on often a student can fly and each individual learning curve. Helicopter flight training can be seen as expensive, but there are plenty of options to make it affordable. Flight hours are $350.00 per hour, and we have multiple bulk hour plans at discounted rates.
